We are commissioned to reach our world through the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Our Church Ministries

As an extension of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry, our church purposefully strives to empower and equip born-again believers to serve in the Kingdom of God. Each ministry provides an opportunity, for committed hearts, to engage in the work of God while growing as His disciples. We believe that the church will advance in spiritual maturity, evangelism, and its destiny as we diligently work together in unity. Below you can take a look at our church ministries at a glance.

  • Since this world continuously promotes a contradictory lifestyle, we encourage our youth to be confident in their walk with God. We teach them to be an example to others, as a light in this dark world. As such, the church provides opportunities for wholesome fellowship with those of like faith. Our young people also can participate in dedicated services that are designed to engage and develop their talents for God.

The first Sundays of each month are dedicated to promote the Youth Ministry.

  • We believe that a consecrated church begins with God-fearing leadership and those who uplift church leadership. Our Pastoral ministry seeks to support the pastor and his wife through a variety of means. This support comes in the form of prayer, fasting, acts of service, and generosity. The principle goal is to ensure that our God-ordained leader has the assistance and focus needed for ministering the Word of God to hungry souls.

The second Sundays of each month are dedicated to promote the Pastoral Ministry.

  • The role of godly women has been essential throughout history and evident in the Bible. Graceful women have contributed greatly to our families, the church, and society—their influence is undeniable. We try to enrich the lives of each woman, at our church, through encouragement, truth, and camaraderie. Our goal is to empower women by strengthening their talents, unique gifts, and their relationship with God.

The third Sundays of each month are dedicated to promote the Women’s Ministry.

  • Our world desperately need men of wisdom who can be godly leaders in their homes, on their jobs, in their communities, and in the body of Christ. At our church, we call upon our men to develop the unity of brotherhood so that we can sharpen one another. With acts of service, accountability, prayer, and fellowship, our men are encouraged to be honorable before God and others.

The fourth Sundays of each month are dedicated to promote the Men’s Ministry.

  • The future leaders of the church are the children on our pews. As a church, we recognize this important fact. Thus, we attempt to reach our children by training them—at an early age—in the way of righteousness. We pray for their well-being. We teach them stories from the Bible. We provide age-appropriate activities so they can understand God’s purpose for their lives. Our church strives to be a safe place for children to develop a genuine relationship with God.

  • In a world that promotes fables, it is vital that we are prepared with Truth. Since the Bible declares that there is absolute truth, we constantly educate ourselves with the Word of God. Christian education comes in the form of faithful Bible Study, Sunday School, and the like. We provide opportunity for this form of discipleship for all ages. Since our goal is to always grow closer to God, we encourage believers to always participate in learning Biblical principles.

  • Our praise and worship experience can be enhanced when accompanied with music. We encourage gifted individuals to skillfully play musical instruments for the glory of God. We provide training and opportunity for interested saints to dedicate themselves for this purpose. As a form of worship, members of the Music Ministry participate in on-going practice and sacrifice so their talents continue to develop.

  • Sincere praise and worship please God. In fact, He inhabits the praises of His people. We believe that praising God, dancing before His presence, and lifting up the Name of Jesus creates an atmosphere where miracles happen, chains break, and hearts mend. During our worship services, members of the praise team consecrate themselves so they can lead the congregation into worship of our Lord. Our praise leaders also provide occasion for the church to express their personal admiration for what God is doing in their own lives.

  • We are called to reach our community with God’s life-changing Word. When an individual desires to join us in our worship services, we work diligently to ensure that soul has transportation to and from the church. As a service to our local community, we reliably provide transportation to those who are in the Charleston area.

  • At the core of the church are those with a servant’s heart. Our ushers embody this attribute as they serve others during our worship services, and this ministry creates a welcoming atmosphere through their hospitality. As individuals enter the sanctuary, we want them to recognize the presence of our loving Savior. The ushers work tirelessly to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and that our services are orderly.

Our Church Beliefs

We place our faith in the truth found in the Word of God.

  1. We believe that all scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (II Timothy 3:16,17)

  2. We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:1-4)

  3. We believe in repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

  4. We believe a person must be born again of the water and the spirit. (St. John 3:5-7; Acts 2:38)
We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God give the utterance. (Acts 2:4)

  5. We believe in one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:5-6)

  6. We believe in the life of holiness. (Hebrews 12:14) We believe that God want us to live a life of holiness (I Peter 1:15-16)

“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
